Hello,
I've recently completed a new fantasy novel called Hemlock and the Wizard Tower. Hemlock and the Wizard Tower is a coming of age tale and an epic fantasy. It concerns a magical city that travels from place to place mysteriously. Within the City, the power of magic is critical to the day to day lives of the citizens. But the use of magic is firmly regulated by a mysterious guild of wizards who dictate its use from the seclusion of their Wizard Tower. Hemlock is a young woman who has survived by her wits in her lower class district. When the magic begins to fail, Hemlock's sister, who is reliant on magic to treat her malady, takes ill. Hemlock resolves to sneak into the Wizard Tower in order to attempt to help her sister and also to try to help the citizens of the City escape the stranglehold of control that the wizards exercise over magic.

The novel is approximately 137,000 words. It is available as an ebook on smashwords at the URL below. 50% of the novel is available as a free sample. The full version is available for $1.99. Thank you for reading.

Her name: Hemlock. Her city: hurtling through strange lands. Her past: lost to her. Her power: great and growing, but why? Her cause: liberty and freedom. Her sister: reliant on magic. Her problem: the Wizards. Her story: an epic fantasy adventure featuring brutal combat, tragic romance and momentous decisions that will determine the destinies of Hemlock and the entire City.

Hemlock and the Wizard Tower was recently featured on the Indie Spotlight !
Also, it has been further revised, and I consider it to be a 2nd edition at this point.
It is now also available on Amazon . Due to Amazon's policies, the price has been raised slightly to $2.99. Here is a Smashwords coupon to give Fantasy Freaks users the opportunity to purchase the book for $2.00: FC68J.

Excerpts from reviews:

"I enjoyed this story tremendously - it's filled with great detail and descriptions, contrasted wonderfully with a sweeping scope and epic adventure, painted with human and not-so-human emotional challenges and growth, all in a structure of logically evolving plots, conflicts, and resolutions."

"If you like detailed epic fantasy, this book is right up your alley."
