Speak for yourselves! I'm definitely not crazy, just for liking nachos and things of that nature.
...

oh, I haven't voted yet, but I'm assuming that option up there is still for 'etc.etc. and describe' so I have to describe -

essentially, I put a salad on top of chips, so we have
-chips
-refried beans, some meat I make, little cheese
-chips
refried beans, some meat I make, some cheese,
-lettuce
-tomato
-cilantro
-onion
-jalapeno/habenaro (the / isn't 'or', hopefully it's 'and')
-green onion
-sour cream
-salsa

heck to the YES

That sounds really good. I make something kind of similar.
It has:
A Flour Tortilla
Refried beans
Cheddar Cheese
Tortilla Chips
Meat (ground beef cooked in chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder)
Mozzarella Cheese
Tortilla Chips
Meat
Refried Beans
White Mexican Cheese (can't think of the name of it! ah!)
Flour Tortilla
Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
Salsa and some mild hot sauce
And a mix of all the previously used cheeses

I picked BBQ, because everything BBQ is awesome:

BBQ ribs, oh yeah
BBQ sausage, so good
BBQ sauce, can put this on EVERYTHING
BBQ bananas with caramel? God yes!
BBQ nachos, awesome, usually with some molten cheddar and chopped onion though :D

I like my nacho's with guacamole too though, very much :D if anybody's interested I can pry loose an awesome recipe for it :)

So basically, Mae and Dudde make Taco Salads and call them Nachos.

I'm just saying. These BBQ nachos I had at the Riverfest were the shiz. Nachos, smothered with barbecued beef and a heaping spoonful of mild nacho cheese poured on top of that.

Of course, the Smirnoff Ice I had with it contributed to the flavors as well...

...BBQ bananas with caramel? That seems like a very odd combination. And I'm sure my mom would be interested in your recipe. She loves guacamole!

Yes, because we can't just settle with a measly one or two toppings! XD Yeah, I know it's taco salad but anytime I attempt to make nachos at home it always turns into that. lol Plus it's a lot more fun than just making some dip. ^.^

I really couldn't see eating anything less than magic for nachos, it would be so much less...magical...

and it's the best thing EVER =D

I gotta say, I'm really not picky, nachos may be part of the reason of why I'm so huge and fat! =0 Them and ice cream, dang nachos and ice cream! or fried Ice cream if I just ate nachos!

hey hey, no holding back nacho recipes in the nacho thread, that's a crime against nachomanity! I'll see your nacho recipe and raise you...a nacho recipe...

The Banana thing had me gagging. You people and your crazy combinations. Some how my mental picture of caryla didn't involve a smirnoff ice. Seems a tad girly.

I find it interesting that you edited your post and added a correction at the bottom instead of changing the wording =D You rock!

I don't necessarily think barbequing bananas is exactly what you guys may be thinkin....I doubt there's barbeque sauce involved, but I could be wrong on that.

despite barbeque making everything completely awesome, I still think a taco salad (THEY'RE NACHOS =c )

Well, I thought the mistake was really funny and laughed about it for a good solid minute or two and decided everyone else should see it too! If it contains chips it's nachos. It's like the whole a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn't a square thing. Taco salad can be nachos but nachos can't be taco salad. lol Okay I think that metaphor only made sense in my head... oh well.
