I had a thought of continuance on your signature, which I hope you'll enjoy:

Knowledge=Power

Absolute Knowledge=Absolute Power

Power -> Corruption

Absolute Power -> Absolute Corruption

Absolute Corruption=Evil

God=Absolute Knowledge

Therefore,

God -> Evil

Enjoy.

I think many people hold that view of God, I means he/she/they/it created everything, and has all power right so that mean he/she/they/it created, or allowed to be created, or chose not to stop: Hurricanes, earthquakes, Hitler, ect.

He has all the power and decides as to what good and evil is right? My own Judeo-christian beliefs have him/her/it/them saying "thou shalt not kill" in one verse and then not many chapters later He/she/it/they comand the death of entire peoples.

So yeah, while I don't agree with the view myself I can definitely see why someone would view God as a being of absolute power who does whatever he/she/it/they want and calls it the greater good when it is all said and done. If he/she/it/they have all the power who is gunna stop him/her/them/it.

one more thing:

4 FTW Baby!

BTW, I'm not saying that this is my personal view on God (or g_d, if that's your bent); being an atheist, I don't really have a view on God as a creature of action. I just wanted to spell out a play-on-words-and-metaphors theorem.

God Has revealed to me that the word Remember is an abomination in his/her/their/it's sight. The repeated 'em' is a creation of the devil and must be snuffed out of existance.

That reminds me:

4 the greatest, best answer to this poll God has ever given man on the face of the earth!

Rember!!!

*giggles* Never thought changing my sig. would have such an effect!

As a side note for Dragonlance readers, I stole the quote from Raistland, back before it came under new management and started to suck.

As another side note, as I type I have a snake coiled around my neck, down my chest and in my pocket - she is investigating with her investigating... nose. And about to fall down the Serenity logo on my jumper. Silly snake.

From the book of Muenster 7:21 -

Quote:
Lo then did Cheese ascend unto the heavens,
To take its rightful place at the left hand of the Lord,
And tho Jesus did look at Cheese askance
And did wonder why it was there,
The holy power of Cheese did cause that which was a Trinity
To become henceforth into a Quadrinity,
Therefore enshrining the power of Four (4) for Eternity
Forever and Ever,
Amen!

Blessed are the Cheesemakers. Rember!

I have received many emails and phone calls in regards to this whole cheesus Business asking for a for my thoughts or some sort or response

Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope “What is cheese, again?” fails.
(I count “What is cheese, again?” as a single word as it works better with this dumb @55 quote)

The American constitution was founded 4 the people, by the people. Not Cheese the people!

Have you forgotten about little miss muffet? Her Curds and Whey attracted spiders! Is that what you want for this Poll? Spiders all over the place scaring people off of their Tuffets?!!

I will say it again: I hope “What is cheese, again?” fails.

I second the vote for the goodness that is rember. When Spock held his 4 fingers up on McCoy's head in Wrath of Khan just before he went in to fix the warp drive and expose himself to the lethal dose of radiation that inevitably led to his tragic ( and yes I cry every time!) death across the glass from his only real friend Kirk he really really should have said, "Rember."
