Oh and the first two chapters were included in the paperback of Ghost Story. I may have visited Barnes and Noble recently and read those without buying the ppb. Or maybe I just dreamed of doing such a thing? ;-p Anyway, I am on pins and needles now more then ever wanting Cold Days!

I'm stoked!

Since I will soon be moving and books are an encumbrance, I might just have to pay full price for a Kindle copy, for the first time ever... I strongly object to the Kindle prices of new releases though, so I may also try to put an advance hold at the library or something...

Dilemma: When moving to another continent, what does one do with a bookshelf full of books you like? And DVDs too, although hypothetically those I could digitize or get rid of the original plastic cases for better transport......

That's a tough one Jade...shipping stuff out of the US is ridiculously expensive these days. If you were going to another state, it would be ok to ship as media mail for books still is a good deal as far as shipping costs go, but that doesn't exist for shipping out of country. Good luck!

Just read the first chapter on JB's website. One chapter as week until the release date, who-hoo! That will give me a nice head start.
Remind me, why is it that they release new books on Tuesdays instead of Fridays? It is a really sucky day of the week for a working man.

Hmmm, maybe to make Tuesdays less sucky? It doesn't bother me too much since I can download it immediately, but of course, finding reading time is more difficult. At least don;t have to run out during my lunch hour to actually pick up the book though.

So, Nook pre-order is in, and I have re-read the first four chapters on JB's site. I stand ready for what comes!
